Building a Campaign-Grade Web Platform in Record Time

The Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) was the centrepiece of the Climate 30×30 Summit in BelĂ©m, Brazil, a critical milestone for environmental diplomacy. Our job was to build a website worthy of this landmark initiative.

01 — The Project

We had six weeks

When you’re tasked with creating a digital hub for a $125 billion global climate finance initiative, the stakes are high. Especially when the timeline is tight and the world is watching.

02 — The Challenge

Six weeks. Five languages. One shot

We had less than six weeks to deliver a website that could represent a new global mechanism to finance forest conservation. It needed to be a clear and elegant user experience aimed at political leaders, donors and the general public.

Beyond the summit, the website had to serve as a multilingual, evergreen campaign platform, supporting the global push to halt deforestation.

03 — Our Approach

Agile by design, ambitious by nature

We started with an agile production model built around daily sprints and asynchronous collaboration with the branding partner, and driven by laser-focused prioritisation.

Our team juggled UX strategy, interface design and CMS integration, while also localising everything in five languages.

From the very start, we made it clear that this wouldn’t be a templated website with token ‘green’ imagery. It had to connect honestly with its audience, not just look pretty.

04 — The Core Build

What we built and why it works

The “About” Page That Moves (Literally)

To keep users engaged and deliver an intriguing explainer of how the TFFF fund works, we custom-built a fully animated ‘About’ section. Visitors scroll through a story-driven interactive journey of the fund’s mechanics, from investment logic to its impact on tropical forest nations.

Multilingual From the Ground Up

To make the website accessible to a global audience, it was built in five languages (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Indonesian). We selected the best localisation solution for the project, giving Campaign for Nature full control over every language version while keeping multilingual content easy to manage.

A CMS Built for Speed and Scale

We integrated a robust content management system, allowing the Campaign for Nature team to manage blog updates, event pages and partner resources without needing us on standby. Flexibility was critical given the evolving nature of climate diplomacy.

Elegant Design That Cuts Through

The site is designed to be crystal-clear and earn a visitor’s trust. It is built to support conversations between high-level policymakers as well as discussions among lay audiences, without dumbing down or overcomplicating the content.
