PROJECT

When you’re tasked with creating a digital hub for a $125 billion global climate finance initiative, the stakes are high. When the timeline’s tight and the world is watching—welcome to our work with the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF).

The Challenge

The TFFF website wasn’t just another build. It was a centrepiece for the Climate 30×30 Summit in Belém, a critical milestone for environmental diplomacy. We had under six weeks to deliver a website that could represent a new global mechanism to finance forest conservation—with a clear, elegant user experience for political leaders, donors, and the general public.

Beyond the summit, the website had to serve as a multilingual, evergreen campaign platform, supporting the global push to halt deforestation.

Our Approach

We kicked off with an agile production model: daily sprints, async collaboration with the branding partner, and sharp prioritisation. Our team juggled UX strategy, interface design, and CMS integration in parallel—all while baking in localisation for five languages.

From day one, we made it clear: this wouldn’t be a templated website with token “green” imagery. It had to stand out, not just look the part.

The Core Build (And Why It Stands Out)

The “About” Page That Moves (Literally)

Let’s talk animations. To keep users engaged and deliver a punchy explainer of how the TFFF fund works, we designed a fully animated “About” section. Visitors scroll through an interactive journey of the fund’s mechanics—from investment logic to its impact on tropical forest nations. It’s story-driven, slick, and completely custom.

Multilingual From the Ground Up

Built in five languages from day one (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Indonesian), the site ensures accessibility and resonance with global audiences. No clunky plug-ins—each version is carefully curated and natively supported.

A CMS Built for Speed and Scale

We integrated a robust content management system, allowing the Campaign for Nature team to manage blog updates, event pages, and partner resources without needing us on standby. Flexibility was critical given the evolving nature of climate diplomacy.

Elegant Design That Cuts Through

From the rainforest-rich visuals on the homepage to subtle motion and microinteractions, the site invites trust and clarity. Every element was crafted to serve high-level policy conversations and lay audiences alike—without dumbing down the content.
